Job Description:

The role is primarily responsible to supervise the operations of the consumer credit approval for housing finance product as per credit policy & regulations in order to ensure quality credit decisions and provide recommendations within prescribed turnaround time. Should have sufficient knowledge of consumer risk associated with housing finance.

Senior Managers Consumer Credit Approvals are to:

·         Lead team of Credit Analysts and Sr. Credit Analysts to ensure flawless processing and decisioning of housing finance applications within agreed TAT to achieve common goals of the bank and carry out risk analysis as per PPM and PR of Housing finance and supported documents i.e. Title documents of property, legal opinion, property evaluation report, income estimation report, Audited financials and tax documents under the guidance of credit policy and parameters.

·         Provide assistance to staff for limit approvals in light of applicant credentials according to home loan credit policy and regulatory guidelines.

·         Maintain up to date  knowledge of housing finance related policies and disseminate updated procedures to the team members to ensure quality decisions for credit approvals

·         Review and analyze rejection cases and provide assistance to stake holders to minimize the rejection rate in coordination with team members

·         Evaluate the performance of the team members and motivate them to perform effectively and efficiently
